LinkTel is a new and innovative company that is locally owned and staffed by a group of dedicated professionals with many years of combined experience in the communications business. LinkTel personnel are individuals who were involved with the Internet before most people knew what the Internet was.

LinkTel is a consortium formed by seven independent telephone companies which have provided the highest level of telecommunications services possible to rural Idaho and Wyoming. These include Silver Star Communications, providing voice and data services in western Wyoming and Teton and Bonneville Counties in Idaho; Albion Telephone providing voice and data services in Arco, Mackay, Howe and Malad Idaho; and Fremont Telcom providing local voice and data services in Fremont and Madison counties in Idaho; Project Mutual Telephone providing local voice and data services in the Rupert, Burley and Twin Falls area in Idaho; Custer Telephone providing local voice and data services in Custer County in Idaho; and Cambridge Telephone providing local voice and data services in the McCall, Cambridge & the Boise areas in Idaho.
